Hearing Aids in Champaign, IL
Our approach to hearing aids is based on our hearing specialist’s first-hand experience wearing them. We understand what patients like you need to get the most out of your hearing aids, and we know how important it is to be comfortable and satisfied with your hearing aid. We take the time to explain everything to you.
We only work with the best hearing aid brands on the market. It’s just a matter of figuring out which of them has the best technology for what you individually need.
Finding the Right Hearing Aid

At Quednau Hearing, we want you to be satisfied with your hearing aids. We don’t try to upsell the most expensive hearing aids — our focus is on you and how we can best help with your specific needs. There are several factors we have to consider when we fit you with hearing aids:
- What is your hearing loss like? Is it mild, moderate, severe, or profound? Does it affect both ears? Do you have difficulty understanding speech? Do you have tinnitus (ringing in the ears)?
- What is your lifestyle like? Do you spend most of your time at home in quiet areas with friends and family, or are you often on the move in noisy, crowded environments?
- What do you want out of hearing aids?
- Do you have difficulty handling small devices? Would you benefit from rechargeable batteries?
- What's your budget? Do you want top-of-the-line technology or are you searching for a more budget friendly hearing aid?
Hearing Aid Styles
We carry all styles of hearing aids for sale, including the following:

Open BTE
Open BTE are behind-the-ear devices that have an open fit. Open fit hearing aids provide amplification via a small tube inserted into the ear canal.
Hearing Aid Follow-Up
After you’re fit with your hearing aids:
- We bring you in one week later to test how comfortable you are with your devices and make any necessary adjustments.
- We bring you back on the second, third, and fourth week for continued adjustment and support. Since you have a 45-day risk-free trial period, we want to make sure you have every opportunity to get the most out of your hearing aids during this time. We'll also raise the levels until you're up to your full hearing prescription.
- We schedule ongoing follow-up appointments every three months or every six months, depending on your preference and your comfort.
